i2r awarded EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability performance

Leading aluminium tray producer, i2r Packaging Solutions, has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, recognising the company’s commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices across its operations.

The globally recognised EcoVadis assessment evaluates organisations across four key areas - Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The programme is used worldwide to benchmark sustainability performance and support continuous improvement across global supply chains. 

The Gold Medal places i2r among the top-performing companies assessed globally by EcoVadis and reflects the company’s ongoing focus on sustainable manufacturing, operational transparency, responsible sourcing, and environmental stewardship as it continues to support customers with recyclable aluminium packaging solutions for the food industry.

EcoVadis assessments are based on internationally recognised sustainability standards including the UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and ISO 26000 guidelines.
