Worcestershire clothing firm spreads Easter cheer to local foodbank

A Worcestershire-based workwear and school clothing supplier has helped bring cheer to hundreds of local children this Easter by donating over 200 chocolate Easter eggs to the Droitwich Foodbank.

A Worcestershire-based workwear and school clothing supplier has helped bring cheer to hundreds of local children this Easter by donating over 200 chocolate Easter eggs to the Droitwich Foodbank.

It’s the first time the kind-hearted staff from Droitwich firm Regency Clothing, who supply school uniform and also workwear to the hospitality, catering, trade and healthcare sectors, have donated the chocolate eggs to the town’s Foodbank as they aim to help hundreds of local families have a happier Easter.

Sue Hicks, head of business and operations at Regency Clothing said: “Everyone here at Regency Clothing enjoys doing as much as possible to support local causes so it made total sense to donate the chocolate eggs this year.

“Only when you see for yourself how much the foodbank team do for local families in Droitwich do you appreciate the effort and kindness they put in every single day.

“We don’t want any local children to go without a chocolate treat and it means a great deal to us to play our part this Easter.”

Droitwich Foodbank is based in Droitwich Spa Baptist Church on the town’s Ombersley Street East. Their website is available through https://droitwichspa.foodbank.org.uk/

Regency Clothing supplies workwear to the hospitality, catering, healthcare, corporate and trade sectors, as well as uniforms for colleges and primary and secondary schools across the UK. They supply almost 50 schools and colleges and 75 businesses, serviced from their warehouse in Droitwich and store in Derby.
