The partnership will see Bel Nada join The Freed From® Collection, a curated portfolio of non-alcoholic wines, spirits and beverages selected following an extensive three-year global search for exceptional drinks.
More than 9,000 drinks from over 2,300 producers across 57 countries have been considered by Freed From®, with fewer than 4% achieving Made the Grade®, the classification required before products are considered for inclusion in its collection.
Bel Nada will now be brought to UK trade buyers through Freed Distribution®, the UK distribution company within the Freed From Group of Companies, which officially launches on 7 September 2026.
The appointment follows Bel Nada’s recent arrival in the UK and represents an important next stage for the Swiss born brand as it looks to build distribution and establish itself within the growing premium alcohol-free category. Created by founder Rebecca Coombe, Bel Nada was born from her own journey of becoming sober curious and a frustration with the lack of elevated alcohol-free options available in Switzerland.
Inspired by the landscapes of the Swiss Alps and the ritual of European apéro culture, Bel Nada spent more than 18 months working with award winning Swiss drinks developers to create a collection designed to offer the flavour, complexity and sophistication traditionally associated with premium alcoholic aperitifs.
Rebecca Coombe, founder of Bel Nada, said: “Being selected by Freed From®️ is a huge moment for Bel Nada. To have all three of our expressions Made The Grade®️ after such a rigorous global search is an incredible validation of what we’ve built in Switzerland.
We created Bel Nada to prove that alcohol-free should never feel like a compromise — it should be every bit as exciting, complex and considered as the alcoholic alternative. The UK is one of the most exciting markets in the world for this category, and with Freed Distribution®️ behind us, we’re ready to make Bel Nada a serious part of it.”
Freed From® is a specialist non-alcoholic drinks business founded by entrepreneur and financier Charles Davies following his own three year global discovery project exploring the rapidly evolving alcohol free drinks market.
The business searches globally for exceptional non-alcoholic drinks, with promising products assessed by The Independent Panel (T.I.P.), a group of drinks and hospitality professionals whose expertise spans wine, spirits, aperitifs and mixed drinks. Products that meet the required standard achieve the Made The Grade® classification and can subsequently be considered for The Freed From® Collection.
Alongside distribution, Freed From aims to support and invest in the growth of the brands it represents, with a focus on building lasting markets and commercial opportunities for its producers.
Charles Davies, founder of Freed From®, said: "We love supporting the producers we work with, bringing their drinks to glasses across the United Kingdom and Europe but also advising and funding their journey along the way. It has been an extraordinary odyssey across the world to find the drinks that really stand out. We set ourselves an ambitious goal: to taste and grade every non-alcoholic drink anywhere in the world. So far, we have considered more than 9,000. Very few reach the standard Bel Nada did, all three of Rebecca's creations have character, balance and complexity, and we're delighted to be bringing them to UK buyers as part of The Freed From® Collection. We raise our glasses to Rebecca.”
Bel Nada’s collection currently comprises three signature alcohol free aperitifs:
L’Aperitivo – an aromatic and floral spritz alternative with notes of grapefruit, rose, lavender and rosemary.
Le Botanique – a crisp, Alpine inspired gin alternative featuring juniper, Swiss pine and herbal botanicals.
L’Épicé – a tropical and spice led 0% rum alternative crafted for richer, warming serves.
Each expression is designed and bottled in Switzerland using carefully selected botanicals, combining premium flavour development with an environmentally conscious approach.
The new distribution partnership will support Bel Nada’s ambitions to build its footprint across UK hospitality, on trade and retail, while introducing the brand and its modern interpretation of Swiss aperitif culture to a wider audience.
