Chunk of Devon is celebrating after collecting an impressive 15 awards at this year’s Food Drink Devon  Awards, including eight for its gluten full range and seven for its gluten free bakes.

The standout win of the evening went to the Butter Chicken Pasty, which took home both Platinum and  the coveted title of Product of the Year. Six further products from Chunk’s traditional range earned gold  and silver awards, while the company’s gluten free creations were also recognised across both savoury  and sweet categories.

“We’re absolutely thrilled,” said Chunk founder Simon Bryon-Edmond. “It’s fantastic to see our gluten  free range receiving the same recognition as our traditional favourites. Maintaining consistency and  quality requires passion and a touch of obsession, and this year’s results really show how dedicated our  team is.”

Chunk’s success reflects how British tastes continue to evolve. The Steak Pasty remains a national  favourite, yet the Butter Chicken Pasty’s top accolade shows how adventurous flavours can now stand  alongside the classics. The company continues to celebrate traditional British baking while innovating  with bold, globally inspired recipes.

“We’ll always love our classics, but it’s exciting to see new flavours take centre stage,” added Simon. “The  Butter Chicken Pasty win shows that consumers are open to fresh ideas and creative twists. We’re always  exploring ways to innovate, while keeping that authentic, handmade feel that defines Chunk.”

This year’s winners include:

Gluten Full Range

Gluten Free Range (including both savoury bakes and cakes)

Chunk of Devon’s continued success underlines its reputation for crafting honest, high-quality British  pies and pasties, made with premium local ingredients and an unwavering obsession with flavour and  integrity.

“We’re proud to represent Devon’s food heritage,” said Simon. “From our bakeries in Ottery St Mary and  Honiton to the local producers we work with, these awards celebrate the skill and quality coming out of  the Southwest.”
