Bread Ahead’s Afternoon Tea selections celebrate the classics with a twist. Dive into savoury favourites like smoked salmon and Coronation chicken and indulge in seasonal sweet delights like Eton Mess Swiss Roll and Matthew’s special chocolate cake. For those seeking a classic scone experience, Bread Ahead offers the very best: freshly baked scones served with homemade strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream, all carefully crafted to perfection.
New Afternoon Tea Menu:
Classic Afternoon Tea - £35 per person
Bridge Rolls:
• London smoked salmon, lemon butter
• Coronation chicken
• Burford brown egg mayonnaise and mustard cress
• Pickled cucumber, whipped cream cheese & dill
Cakes:
• Eton Mess Swiss roll
• Apricot, almond, and lemon thyme tart
• Matthew’s chocolate cake
Scones & Preserves:
• Served warm, plain & fruit
• Accompanied by strawberry jam & Cornish clotted cream
Teas:
• Enjoy a range of specially selected loose-leaf teas
Traditional Cream Teas - £19.50 per person
• A pot of the finest loose leaf teas
• Selection of fruit and plain scones
• Served with strawberry preserve and clotted cream
• Add a slice of cake of the day for £4.95
Afternoon tea is served from 12pm – 4pm, Thursday to Sunday.
