On Wednesday 16th July, wagamama is set to open a brand new, iconic restaurant in the Cotswolds, as demand continues to grow for the brand’s nourishing menu on its iconic benches.

The new Cotswolds restaurant is the first UK opening of the year and will serve up classic guest favourites, amongst them, the chicken katsu, ramens and fresh bowls from the new summer menu centred around personalisation, freshness and feel-good food.

wagamama is bringing its fresh, vibrant dishes to its benches nationwide with the launch of a fresh new summer menu. This forms part of its new brand platform ‘food is life’ that celebrates food’s emotional power and cultural importance.

The first campaign under this new platform, titled wagamama when, begins with the simple truth that wagamama has been part of so many people’s lives, across many different moments. Whether it’s your first visit or fiftieth, the campaign taps into that familiar feeling, rekindling the emotional connection people have with the brand. wagamama when celebrates being there for life’s little (and big) moments.

wagamama’s new summer menu features light and vibrant pho noodle soups with a clear yuzu broth and high-fibre, low-calorie konjac noodles. Guests can choose from chicken thigh, hoki fish, or king oyster mushroom, finished with herbs, red pepper, bean sprouts, and lime. Fresh salads include a sweet chilli option with caramelised chicken or tofu, and a pad thai salad inspired by guest favourites. The menu also sees the introduction of the build-your-own donburi bowl, which allows guests to tailor their meal, with choices of protein, vegetables and toppings – plus a new lighter base option, cauliflower ‘rice’.

Located at the new Cotswolds Designer Outlet, the stylish new restaurant has been designed for 150 internal covers and 56 external covers. Open seven days a week, the new restaurant will create 50 new jobs, bringing wagamama’s total to 166 restaurants across the UK.

Emily Wharton, Regional Marketing Manager for the Cotswolds, comments: “We are so excited to open the doors to our brand-new restaurant in the Cotswolds at the new Cotswolds Designer Outlet in the summertime. Our benches will soon be welcoming the local community and visitors of the outlet, as we serve up our newest menu launch and fresh favourites! Our fantastic new team has been working hard to ensure we’ll bring our much-loved wagamama experience to our guests and they’re so excited to land in their beautiful new restaurant once work is complete.”
