BERO, the premium non-alcoholic beer co-founded by Tom Holland, brought serious star power to the court with a one-day Pro-Am padel tournament at London’s Padel Social Club, and it’s already rivalling Wimbledon as the social sporting event of the summer.

Hosted in partnership with AD/vantage, WME/IMG Padel, and Reserve Padel, the first annual “BERO Padel Classic” created a cultural spectacle with world-class padel pros including World #1 Arturo Coello, and A-list celebrities including Stormzy, Jay Shetty, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Notorious Foodie and Rob Delaney all in action. The event served up style, competition, and connection in equal measure.

Less than a year since launch, BERO is dominating the Wimbledon conversation. The brand’s Padel Classic was a showcase of its unique ability to breathe new life into some of the most beloved cultural and sporting moments in the calendar year. It’s not just the new gold standard in beer, it’s the pursuit of the very best in all experiences.

As padel has quickly become a symbol of how people gather today and one of the UK’s most on-trend sporting activities, BERO’s involvement not only falls in line with its natural English heritage, but signals a deep understanding of the spaces where quality and culture intersect. Just as padel continues to grow beyond the court into lifestyle and design, BERO shows up as more than a beer. It is a marker of taste and a gateway to a life enriched.

After a day of fiercely competitive matches, Charlie Pragnell and Juan Pa Zurita were crowned the overall winners of the tournament, earning bragging rights alongside a well-earned, ice-cold BERO to toast their victory. In second place was Jay Shetty and Rafa Vega.

On the sidelines, the experience was elevated through food & beverage offerings featuring bites by London cult-favourites It’s Bagels and Axe Mangal, paired with pours from partners like Remy Cointreau and Wild Idol Rosé. With every layer of the day dripping in aspirational, curated style, a custom trophy by esteemed British jeweller Pragnell served as the perfect centrepiece for the moment.
