Meet Santa in Bread Ahead’s Giant Gingerbread House at Wembley

This Christmas, Bread Ahead Wembley - the artisan bakery and baking school in the heart of Wembley Park - is inviting families to step into a world of festive wonder. Famous for inspiring young bakers and sharing the joy of baking, Bread Ahead has been busy crafting a spectacular seasonal treat that will dazzle visitors of all ages (open from now until Sunday 21st Dec). 

This year, the Bread Ahead elves in Wembley have been busy and built a giant Gingerbread House bigger than ever before, adored with all sweet treats Wembley can implore!  For one day only, visitor and locals alike are invited into meet Santa for FREE and have an explore! The Gingerbread House (or Grotto for the day) stands at a towering 4 metres tall, 3.5 metres wide and 2.5 metres deep; made with over 400kg of gingerbread, 500kg of golden syrup, 100kg of icing sugar and 2,000 sweets, it’s a truly show-stopping creation designed to amaze visitors and provide the perfect festive photo opportunity for friends and family.

Visitors can look forward to: 

• Meet Santa inside the giant Gingerbread House 

• Capture festive photos
