Tequila Rose, the UK’s best-selling strawberry cream liqueur, is painting festival season pink with a new campaign that blends beauty, flavour, and fun.

In collaboration with Strictly and Love Island star Tasha Ghouri, the brand is making its mark on British festival season by launching limited-edition ‘Festi-sential Glam Bags’ packed with must-have accessories for music lovers.

The exclusive pink glam bags are packed with strawberry-flavoured lip gloss, a pink mini-mirror, hand sanitiser, poncho, and a 50cl bottle of Tequila Rose paired with a pink shot glass. designed to keep festival-goers refreshed and camera-ready.

On Wednesday, 25th June, Tequila Rose took over Paddington Station from 11am to 2pm with a showstopping pink ‘festi-sensials’ vending machine.

Love Island stars Harriet Blackmore and Matilda Draper were on hand to distribute 250 limited edition glam bags to lucky passersby, as they were gearing up to head on their way.

Stocked full of last-minute essentials, including the all-important lip gloss, after a poll by the UK’s favourite pink strawberry shot brand crowned it the ultimate festival must-have for Gen Z and Millennial women.

The activation aligns with several rising trends in the UK spirits sector. Flavoured, lower-ABV shots are increasingly favoured by younger consumers. A 2024 report by Paragon Brands showed that 69% of Brits aged 18 - 34 prefer taking shots on nights out, with cream-based liqueurs among the fastest-growing segments.

According to the Mintel UK Spirits Market Report, 2024, Miniature formats are booming and compact, portable drinks are on the rise. Nearly half of UK consumers now seek miniature versions of their favourite spirits and cocktails - driven by taste, convenience, and shareability.

The same report showed that festival-ready RTDs and small-format spirits are growing at festivals, where portability, aesthetic appeal, and social media visibility matter. Tequila Rose’s vibrant branding and indulgent taste make it an ideal fit for Gen Z and Millennial festival culture.

Known for its distinctive blend of strawberry cream liqueur with a splash of tequila, Tequila Rose continues to lead the flavoured liqueur category in the UK. The brand remains a staple among young adult consumers seeking indulgent, Instagrammable drink experiences.

Sophie McLeay, Tequila Rose Brand Manager, said: “Festival season is all about self-expression, escapism, and unforgettable moments with friends, and our consumers tell us that feeling glam is a huge part of that experience. Tequila Rose is here to elevate those moments, with a touch of indulgence and a splash of pink.

“Whether customers are dancing in the front row or snapping selfies by the stage, we want to be part of their festival story. This summer, we’re inviting everyone to bring the glam and drink the pink.”
