Gut Lovin’ drinks brand, Hip Pop, has welcomed another retailer to its expanding list of stockists, just three months after being named the fastest growing soft drinks brand in the UK*.

Two of Hip Pop’s award-winning products – the Strawberry & Pineapple Kombucha and the Cherry & Blackberry CBD Kombucha – have now hit the shelves in 98 Co-op stores across the UK.

Delicious and refreshing, Hip Pop’s Kombucha is a fermented tea infused with live cultures, with the CBD Kombucha also containing 15mg of CBD and Bacillus Coagulans – a bacteria that's had huge amounts of study around gut health – effectively combining all the gut-friendly qualities of Kombucha with the therapeutic benefits of CBD.

Both the Cherry & Blackberry CBD Kombucha and Strawberry & Pineapple Kombucha have been recognised by Great Taste, the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme, having been awarded one star (2023) and two stars (2024) respectively, making Hip Pop an official Great Taste producer.

Expertly crafted to “taste good and do good”, Hip Pop’s entire range of Kombucha and Sodas is 100% natural, vegan-friendly and low in calories.

Emma Thackray, co-founder of Hip Pop, commented: “At Hip Pop, we’re dedicated to crafting delicious drinks that not only taste good but do good too. Our entire range is vegan-friendly, low in sugar and free from artificial sweeteners – the trifecta of tasty and health focused.

“More and more consumers are becoming aware of the calming effects of CBD due to a growing body of evidence showing the wider potential for CBD, including benefits to gut health. Because of this, we’re proud to produce the first CBD-infused Kombucha of its kind in the UK, combining the benefits of CBD with the goodness of Kombucha, specially created to offer people a buzz without the booze.

“Earlier this year, Hip Pop became the fastest growing brand in its carbonates category (Source: IRI, 52 w/e 18 May 2024), allowing us to reach more people who are looking to prioritise their gut health. This latest partnership with Co-op will allow us to continue elevating the visibility of our brand, and we look forward to seeing what comes next!”

Founded in 2019, Hip Pop is now considered to be THE go-to alternative soft drinks brand, having launched in both Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Ocado earlier this year.
