Thorntons unveils modernised brand identity and celebrates 100 years of Special Toffee and 75 years of Fudge

Beloved British confectioner Thorntons is marking two momentous milestones in its rich heritage with a modernised brand identity – from its packaging and logo to in-store and digital presence. This exciting transformation coincides with the 100th anniversary of Thorntons iconic Special Toffee and the 75th anniversary of Fabulous Fudge.

As part of this celebration, Thorntons is introducing two delicious new innovations:

  • Chocolate-Covered Toffee and Fudge: small-batch toffee and fudge, handcrafted using timeless methods and now available with a coating of smooth milk chocolate. With perfectly balanced flavours, rich textures, and exceptional quality, the new Thorntons Chocolate-Covered Toffee and Fudge are the latest additions to our well-loved range.
  • Chewy Special Toffee: A modern twist on a beloved classic—this softer, chewier version retains the rich, traditional flavour that has delighted generations, now with an irresistibly tender bite.  A new addition to the Original Special Toffee.

In response to overwhelming requests, Thorntons is also thrilled to announce the return of the Viennese Truffle to its Continental box range. So many chocolate lovers asked, and Thorntons listened. This beloved praline is back to bring joy to fans, old and new.

The new look and feel will also be extended to the Christmas and Easter ranges. The updated design reflects the brand’s commitment to quality, flavour, and innovation, while honouring the timeless recipes that have made Thorntons one of Britain’s favourite chocolate brands.
