Miss Kim Brings Korean Snacking to Whole Foods Market

Independent Korean food brand Miss Kim is landing in select Whole Foods Market stores, bringing its range of modern Korean snacks and pantry staples to a new audience across London

Founded by former art curator Heejin No, Miss Kim was created to make Korean food more accessible through products that are rooted in Korean culinary traditions but designed for modern, everyday eating.

The new Whole Foods Market listing will see a selection of Miss Kim’s products hit shelves, including its Sea Salt Nurungji (£3.99), Lotus Root Bugak (£3.99) and signature Tinned Kimchi (£5.90).

Miss Kim’s Tinned Kimchi comes in two varieties; Vegan Kimchi, a naturally fermented kimchi made with crunchy-fresh cabbage and a bright gochugaru kick, and Stir-Fried Kimchi, a savoury, slow-cooked version with a rich, caramelised depth. Both are vegan and gluten-free, are designed to be enjoyed straight from the tin or added to everything from rice and noodles to sandwiches and toasties.

The Sea Salt Nurungji is made from thin, golden toasted rice for an irresistibly crisp, nutty bite, seasoned with mineral-rich sea salt from South Korea’s Sinan Coast. A moreish snack straight from the pack, it can also be used as a crunchy addition to dishes. The Lotus Root Bugak is light, crisp and high in fibre, making it the perfect Korean-inspired snack, banchan (side dish) or crunchy garnish. Both products are vegan and gluten-free and have received recognition from the Free From Food Awards.

Miss Kim launched in January 2026 with a mission to showcase the breadth of Korean food culture beyond the dishes most familiar to UK consumers. Its products are made with a focus on quality ingredients and Korean culinary heritage, while fitting easily into modern British kitchens and snack cupboards.

The brand has already received recognition from the BBC Good Food SME Awards, winning the award for Creativity & Branding, alongside recognition for its launch products at the Free From Food Awards.

Heejin No, founder of Miss Kim, says:

“Whole Foods Market is exactly the kind of retailer we wanted to work with because there is such a strong focus on quality, interesting food and discovering something new. We’re excited to introduce more people to Korean snacking and pantry staples hopefully show just how varied Korean food can be.”
