Grace Foods UK launches new Dunn's River Jamaican Green Seasoning and refreshed seasonings range

Grace Foods UK, the UK's leading supplier of authentic Caribbean food and drink*, is refreshing its Dunn's River seasonings range with a vibrant new pack design that will begin rolling out this month, alongside the launch of its new Dunn's River Jamaican Green Seasoning.

The refreshed design has been created to deliver stronger shelf standout, helping the range command greater attention in-store through bold colour coding and vibrant Caribbean-inspired graphics that celebrate the personality of the Dunn's River brand.

The Dunn's River seasonings range brings the authentic flavours of the Caribbean to everyday cooking, offering blends inspired by traditional Jamaican recipes. The range includes favourites such as Chicken, Fish, All Purpose, Jerk, Curry Goat and Barbecue Seasoning, alongside herbs, spices and fry mixes.

Leading the rollout is the new Dunn's River Jamaican Green Seasoning – a versatile marinade inspired by one of the most widely used flavour bases in Jamaican home cooking.

The new Dunn's River Jamaican Green Seasoning is crafted from a fragrant blend of scallions, thyme, garlic, onion and mild Scotch peppers. The result is a bright, aromatic seasoning that reflects the core ingredients used across Jamaican cooking, delivering a well-balanced flavour that complements a wide range of ingredients and dishes.

Green seasoning is widely used across the Caribbean, where shared culinary influences have produced different regional styles. The Jamaican version focuses on a balanced blend of everyday cooking staples such as scallion, onion, thyme, garlic and peppers. Unlike some Eastern Caribbean versions, it does not typically include cilantro or shadon beni, resulting in a flavour profile that is distinctly Jamaican.

This balanced blend makes Dunn's River Jamaican Green Seasoning ideal for everyday cooking. It can be rubbed into chicken, fish, meat or vegetables and works equally well in barbecues, oven-baked dishes, stews or curries. By combining the key flavours that underpin many Caribbean recipes, it offers a simple way for home cooks to bring authentic Jamaican taste to a wide variety of meals.

"With the launch of our new Jamaican Green Seasoning and the refreshed look for our seasonings range, we're giving the Dunn's River brand an even stronger presence on shelf. The bold new design better reflects the vibrancy and authenticity of Caribbean food while making it easier for shoppers to discover the breadth of the range.

“At the same time, our new Jamaican Green Seasoning captures the balanced, aromatic flavours at the heart of Jamaican cooking in a way that's versatile and approachable for everyone. It also taps into the growing UK trend for 'fricy' Caribbean flavours – aromatic, slightly fruity and subtly spiced blends that bring exciting, vibrant taste to everyday meals."
