Chunk of Devon’s Iconic Sprout Pie Returns for Christmas 2025

Christmas has arrived! and Chunk is once again putting the humble Brussels Sprout in the spotlight with the return of its much-loved Sprout Pie, a limited-edition Christmas favourite that is fast becoming a modern classic.

Christmas has arrived! and Chunk is once again putting the humble Brussels Sprout in the spotlight with the return of its much-loved Sprout Pie, a limited-edition Christmas favourite that is fast becoming a modern classic.

Packed with whole Brussels sprouts, crisp bacon lardons and roasted chestnuts, bathed in rich Cheddar cheese sauce and wrapped in Chunk’s signature golden pastry. This is the sprout reimagined. Forget the over-boiled sprouts of Christmas past; this is Sprout sophistication at its finest.

“We know the sprout debate divides families every Christmas,” said Chunk founder Simon Bryon-Edmond. “But when they’re treated properly, sprouts are sensational, and even better wrapped in pastry! The Sprout Pie (and Sprout Pasty) started as a bit of festive fun, and now people wait all year for it come back”.

When it first launched, the Sprout Pie sold out in under 24 hours. Since then, it has become a cult favourite among Chunk fans, combining Christmas nostalgia with bold seasonal flavour.

This year’s festive line-up also includes Venison & Port Pie, Turkey, Ham, Brie & Cranberry Pie, and the Turkey, Ham & Cranberry Pasty, each crafted with high-welfare meats, local produce, and the same rustic, homemade quality that defines Chunk of Devon.

Available to order online at www.chunkofdevon.co.uk until 17 December 2025, these limited-edition pies bring a touch of hearty indulgence to every Christmas table.
