Founder Lavanya Sarikonda balances a full-time career at a software company with motherhood and a growing food business. Evenings and weekends bring a different kind of creativity: preparing fillings, folding samosas and welcoming customers at local markets.
ANAVRIN is “Nirvana” spelt backwards, capturing the pleasure and discovery Lavanya hopes to share through her food. The brand’s boarding-pass theme invites customers on a culinary journey, with internationally inspired fillings turning each samosa into a new flavour destination.
Butter chicken is a firm crowd favourite, while pesto chicken with mozzarella and spinach is especially popular with children. The menu also features comforting potato and peas, rich paneer butter masala, beef bolognese-inspired samosas, and Mexican-inspired kidney beans with chipotle and chargrilled vegetables. Vegan, vegetarian and meat varieties invite families and friends to mix, share and discover their favourites.
Alongside the samosas, ANAVRIN serves freshly prepared chicken dum biryani. Frozen samosas are also available for finishing in an oven or air fryer, making them convenient for meals, celebrations and entertaining.

Frequently selling out at local markets, ANAVRIN has built an enthusiastic following through regular appearances at St Neots and Haslingfield. Customer conversations and encouraging feedback continue to shape the business. Features in the Cambridge Independent and Foodepedia have shared its story with a wider audience.
Approaching its first anniversary this November, ANAVRIN is ready to explore new partnerships. Lavanya would love to hear from independent retailers, cafés, pubs, venues and corporate teams interested in stocking the samosas, arranging catering or collaborating on tasting events. From office lunches to Christmas gatherings, the range brings variety to a sharing menu. Complimentary tastings can be arranged for prospective business partners.

Inspired by the response so far, Lavanya dreams of taking her handmade creations beyond Cambridge, inviting people across the globe to explore a world of flavours wrapped in a samosa.
Good Food. Good Karma. Taste of Nirvana.
