A leading recruitment firm which specialises in providing talent for the catering and hospitality sectors has donated over 200 Christmas advent calendars to a local foodbank.

Staff at Midland-based jobs specialist, Pineapple Recruitment, have donated the chocolate treats to Worcester Foodbank which they hope will go a little way to putting a smile on children’s faces.

Kasia Krieger, Business Manager at Pineapple Recruitment said: “The special gift of a chocolate advent calendar makes a big difference to any child who has to spend this Christmas in food poverty.

“We don’t want any kids to go without and everyone here at Pineapple Recruitment wants to ensure that parents who are using the foodbank here in Worcester can get hold of an advent calendar easily.

“We want to help put smiles on as many faces as possible and are delighted to have been able to donate the advent calendars.”

Grahame Lucas from Worcester Foodbank said: “We are very appreciative to Kasia and the whole team at Pineapple Recruitment for thinking of the children which will mean so much to them.”
