Tamdhu Speyside Single Malt Whisky has strengthened its partnership with The Whisky Shop. The whisky will feature in both a window and a stunning in-store display in the flagship Piccadilly, London branch of The Whisky Shop.

The promotion was inaugurated at a VIP customer event on 15 April 2026 and runs for three years. It showcases five Tamdhu expressions: 12 Year Old (£51), 15 Year Old (£95), 18 Year Old (£175), Tamdhu Cigar Malt (£203.99), and 21 Year Old (£299) and the window displays can be seen until May 2026.

Neil Jamieson, Buyer for The Whisky Shop said: “For our customers, The Whisky Shop represents excellence and curated whisky collections. Tamdhu has a unique offering and the quality resulting from the sherry cask maturation is appreciated by our knowledgeable whisky audiences. We are therefore delighted to have Tamdhu’s prominent display in one of our flagship stores.”

Tamdhu is a multi-award-winning collection of ultra-premium whiskies, boasting the distinction of being the only distillery in Scotland to fully mature all their single malt whisky in Sherry casks. It is a historic distillery, having operated for nearly 130 years, and is owned by family run Ian Macleod Distillers.

The whisky is entirely natural in colour and characterised by its rich, sherried and smooth tasting notes. The Tamdhu team, led by Distillery Manager Sandy McIntyre, is proud of the brand’s ‘Spain to Speyside’ story which is underlined by the fact that the now disused Victorian railway station remains on the estate of the distillery, nestled by the banks of the River Spey, one of most scenic distillery settings in the world.

Arrival by train to this picturesque rail station was the method by which, in years gone by, the expensive sherry casks were delivered to the distillery after their long journey from Jerez in Spain. The romance of this proud tradition of using only the finest sherry casks continues today. The station building has been restored and is used to welcome guests for invited Tamdhu events.

Tamdhu Brand Director, Iain Weir, said: “We are immensely proud of our partnership with The Whisky Shop and delighted to showcase our distinctive, exclusively sherry-cask-matured whisky in one of their most prominent London stores in the heart of St James’s and close to The Ritz and many of London’s top clubs and stores. We hope to attract the attention of even more of the discerning local and international customers who appreciate Tamdhu’s dedication to excellence and who buy at The Whisky Shop.”
