MR. WHITE’S GIN, the spirit created by star chef Marco Pierre White, is celebrating the season with the latest in a series of exciting vegetable cocktails with that quintessential symbol of October, the pumpkin.

Proving that pumpkins should be enjoyed by the grown-ups and not just carved into Jack-o-Lanterns, we’re loving this glorious concoction that looks like a sunset and tastes elegant and luxurious.

MR. WHITE’S Pumpkin Sour Cocktail

Recipe

  • 50ml MR. WHITE’S GIN
  • 30ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml Sugar syrup
  • 1 tsp of pumpkin puree
  • 15ml Egg white, 30ml Aquafaba or 10 drops of Ms. Better’s Miraculous Foamer
  • A few dashes of orange bitters

Method

Dry shake all the ingredients (in a cocktail shaker with no ice) for around 20-30 seconds; then add ice and shake again for another 20 seconds. Double strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass or Coupe glass. Garnish with one slice of dehydrated orange and a sprig of thyme.

MR. WHITE’S GIN is a bold, smooth, London Dry with a contemporary twist, rooted in English tradition and embodying respect for quality and respect for craft.
