A very special exclusive whisky is making its debut at Selfridges this summer.  Award-winning Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has released Cask Number 1013 from the year 2009, an exclusive Single Cask expression, especially for Selfridges. The luscious spirit is available from 18 June 2025. The bottle label features the distinctive Selfridges yellow identity and whisky connoisseurs will want to have this in their collection.

This whisky has been hand-selected by Selfridges spirits experts, will be in all branches of Selfridges – London, Birmingham, Manchester Trafford, and Manchester Exchange Square as well as online for UK customers only. Whisky lovers take note: with only 259 bottles available, you need to be quick off the mark.

This 54.2% ABV whisky costs £250 for a 70cl bottle and is a sophisticated 2009 First Fill European Oak sherry cask expression. This luxurious Glengoyne expression for Selfridges will delight whisky aficionados and collectors.

Tasting notes:

Nose – Spiced stewed fruits, toffee apple, peach, nutty with lemongrass, salted caramel, chocolate, and pear drops.

Palate – Balanced and fruity, madeleines, lemon icing, dry sherry, almond, berry crumble, and orange.

Finish – Long, chocolate, vanilla, toasted oak, and dried fruit.

Caroline Fox, UK Commercial Director of Glengoyne Distillery said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Selfridges in bringing this whisky to their discerning customers. The Selfridges branding which adorns the limited-edition bottles makes a special whisky even more of a collectors’ item.”

It isn’t just the whisky that is admired.  Glengoyne is considered one of the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland. This Highland distillery near Loch Lomond is situated close to Glasgow.

Known for its ‘unhurried’ approach with some of Scotland’s slowest stills., Glengoyne has an appealing fruity character unlike any other. Importantly, this is a highly sustainable distillery, proud of its local environment, its100% green electricity use, and the fully recyclable, sustainable packaging. You can raise a glass of Glengoyne to a more sustainable future as well as enjoying this elegant whisky.
